Air Source Heat Pumps • North West & Wales

Heat Pump installers Brecon.

Efficient, low-carbon heating — expertly installed.

We design and install air source heat pump systems that deliver comfortable, steady heat and reliable hot water working closely with our partners Sustainable Heating Wales. We provide clear advice, tidy workmanship, and support with grant routes where available.

✔ Suitability assessment ✔ Proper system sizing ✔ Commissioning + aftercare

Designed for comfort and efficiency

Heat pumps work!...When designed properly. A heat pump isn’t a “swap like-for-like” boiler job — performance depends on correct sizing, flow temperature, hot water setup and controls. We design around your home so it runs efficiently. Exoerts in building heat loss we meticulously size your system to improve our performance then with our trusted partners will install and maintain it to ensure peace of mind for years to come.

From quote to comfort

A straightforward process, with clear communication at every step.
1 Step 1

Initial conversation

We’ll ask about your current heating, hot water use, insulation, and what “comfort” looks like for your home.

2 Step 2

Home assessment

We check heat loss, radiator/UFH suitability, cylinder options, and where the outdoor unit can be sited.

3 Step 3

System design

Correct sizing and layout planning to keep flow temperatures low and efficiency high — not oversized, not underpowered.

4 Step 4

Quotation

Clear pricing and scope. If upgrades are needed (e.g., radiator changes), we’ll explain why and price them transparently.

5 Step 5

Installation

Neat pipe routes, safe electrics and tidy finishing. We keep disruption down and update you daily.

6 Step 6

Commissioning & handover

We test operation, set controls, and show you how to run it efficiently (steady heat, sensible schedules).

Why choose a heat pump?

Lower carbon, modern comfort, and a heating system designed around efficiency.

The key advantages

Heat pumps move heat rather than generating it through combustion. When designed properly, they can run efficiently at lower temperatures and deliver consistent comfort.

Steady, comfortable heat
Lower flow temperatures give an even warmth.
Reduced carbon footprint
A step toward a lower-carbon home.
Future-ready heating
Works well alongside smart controls and good insulation.
Grant routes may be available
We can talk you through typical requirements.
£ Grants
Up to £7,500

Often referenced grant figure for eligible air source heat pump installs (BUS).

Lifespan
15–20 years

Typical lifespan range with good installation and routine maintenance.

🌡️ Comfort
All-year hot water

Efficient hot water via a cylinder setup and modern controls.

Best results usually come from:

A good heat loss assessment, sensible flow temperatures, correctly sized emitters (radiators/UFH), and well-tuned controls. We design the system around these fundamentals.

How heat pumps work

A simple explanation of air source heat pumps and what to expect in your home.

Air source heat pumps (ASHP)

An ASHP extracts heat energy from outdoor air and “upgrades” it so it can warm water for your radiators/UFH and hot water cylinder. Even on cold days there’s useful heat energy in the air.

1 Step

Absorb

The outdoor unit absorbs heat from the air into a refrigerant.

2 Step

Boost

The system compresses the refrigerant to raise its temperature.

3 Step

Transfer

Heat is transferred into your heating water via a heat exchanger.

4 Step

Deliver

Warm water circulates through your home and heats the cylinder.

What we check for suitability

Heat pumps work best when the home and system are designed together.

Heat loss
Room-by-room assessment to size the system correctly.
Emitters
Radiators/UFH suitability for lower temperatures.
Hot water
Cylinder sizing and plumbing layout.
Outdoor location
Positioning, noise considerations, airflow clearance.
