Who we are
The data controller is Everything Energy Renewables Limited (company number 13716232), 99 Stanley Road, Bootle, Liverpool, Merseyside, L20 7DA. Contact: enquiries@everything-energy.co.uk.
How the calculator works
- The estimate is worked out entirely in your web browser. Your answers about your roof and electricity use are not sent to us or saved by this page.
- If you enter a postcode, it is sent to postcodes.io (a free open-data postcode service) to find your approximate location. Nothing else you type is sent with it.
- Solar figures come from data built into the page (from the EU's PVGIS service), so no location is sent to PVGIS.
If you request a survey
The "Request a survey by email" button opens your own email app with a message addressed to us, containing your name, email, postcode, phone number (if given), whether you'd like marketing emails, and a summary of your estimate. Nothing is sent until you press send in your email app, and you can edit the message first. This page does not store your details.
Why we use your details, and our lawful basis
- Replying to you and arranging a survey you asked for: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Marketing emails: only if you tick the optional box (consent, UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and PECR). You can withdraw at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Who we share it with
Your email is received by our business email provider, which processes it on our behalf. This website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. We do not sell your details or pass them to other installers.
How long we keep it
If you don't become a customer, we keep your enquiry for 12 months and then delete it. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as needed for warranties and our MCS and RECC obligations. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Cookies
The calculator sets no cookies and uses no analytics. If we add analytics, we will ask for your consent first.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email enquiries@everything-energy.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
